Nominations are open for 2024 UA organization of the year
In 2023 the Ukrainian American Community Foundation (UACF) at Ukrainian Federal Credit Union (UFCU) nominated and selected Roc Maidan as the 2023 Ukrainian American Organization of the year for its continued outstanding humanitarian aid efforts to support Ukraine. The nomination window is open until the end of business on December 20, 2024.
What are the criteria?
- Organization is headquartered in the U.S.
- Organization is at least one year old and is currently active at the time of nomination.
- Organization is 100% volunteer run.
What are the rules & guidelines?
- There are two awards being given for 2024 Ukrainian American Organization of the Year:
- One award will be granted to an organization for its international aid work that extends beyond the U.S.
- One award will be granted to an organization for its domestic aid efforts
- Nomination process is open to the public, and will be conducted through an online form on our UFCU website (see below). Those with limited or no internet service may call or visit a UFCU branch to nominate an organization.
- UFCU membership is not required to submit a nomination or to be nominated.
- One person may nominate more than one organization, but please use one form per nominee.
- Organization does not receive any financial compensation as a result of being nominated and/or winning the award.
- After December 20, 2024 the UACF Board will review all nominations and select two winners: 1) international 2) domestic. Only winning organizations will be notified and a date/time of the presentation of the award will be determined. Announcement will be publicized across all UFCU channels and in the 2024 UFCU Annual Report.
