December was a busy month for our Sacramento, CA area community!
1) UFCU participated in Family Night at Futures High School attended by students and their families. Attendees enjoyed a Slavic-themed dinner, student performance, games, prizes, and a movie! During the event we provided information about our products and services, and what we might be able to do to help recently arrived Ukrainians. UFCU presented a donation to Vicente Luevano, Principal of Futures High School, to help offset the expenses for this event and further support the predominantly Slavic population at the school.
2) The Youth Group at First Ukrainian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith organized a wonderful community Christmas play attended by over 300 people. UFCU was proud to sponsor! We hope everyone enjoyed the coffee and sweets!
Thank you to UFCU Regional Branch Manager, Mikhail Tkach, and members of his team, for personally attending and/or supporting all of these events. UFCU presented various personal and business financial services and provided much-needed resources especially for those who recently arrived from Ukraine and its war-torn regions.
